Tawfig founded Chihade International because of his desire to fill a demand for US Food products overseas. He graduated school from the University of Eastern Kentucky with a business degree, and worked internationally for RJ Reynolds in Beirut before moving to Milles Laboratory (currently Bayer company) as a sales representative, He later became Regional Manager in New York, before assuming various executive positions in the sales department. After a regional management position with Hunt’s and Wesson for the Middle East in North Africa, Tawfig utilized his extensive knowledge of food export to found Chihade International, Inc., with his wife Anne in 1979. |
